An effective technical resume clearly presents your skills, experience, and impact — getting you past initial screening (often by recruiters and automated systems) to interviews. It should be focused, achievement-oriented, and tailored.
Key principles
✓ Show IMPACT, not just duties → quantify achievements ("reduced load time 40%",
"built X serving Y users") rather than listing responsibilities
✓ Use action verbs + results → "Built/Designed/Improved/Led... resulting in..."
✓ TAILOR to the job → highlight relevant skills/experience for each role (match keywords)
✓ Be CONCISE → ideally 1 page (early career); clear, scannable, well-organized
✓ Include relevant TECHNOLOGIES/skills, projects, and experience
