As a tech lead, I would first turn “ten times more users” into expected usage, service targets and a plan the team can deliver. Registered accounts alone do not tell us how many requests arrive at the busiest moment.
Suppose the business plans a campaign for an order platform. The question is whether customers can still browse, buy and receive confirmation during the campaign, within the available time and budget.
1. Translate growth into workload
Ask product when users will arrive and which actions they will perform. A gradual increase over a year differs from a campaign that brings everyone online at once.
