Tsarin lamba na binary yana amfani da lamba 2 azaman tushe (radix). A matsayin tsarin lamba-2, ya ƙunshi lambobi biyu kawai: 0 da 1.
Menene hexadecimal?
Tsarin lamba hexadecimal, sau da yawa an rage shi zuwa "hex", tsarin lamba ne da aka yi shi da alamomi 16 (tushe 16). Madaidaicin tsarin lambobi ana kiransa decimal (tushe 10) kuma yana amfani da alamomi goma: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. Hexadecimal yana amfani da lambobi goma sha ɗaya da ƙarin alamomi shida. Babu alamomin lamba waɗanda ke wakiltar ƙima sama da tara, don haka ana amfani da haruffan da aka ɗauko daga haruffan Ingilishi, musamman A, B, C, D, E da F. Hexadecimal A = decimal 10, da hexadecimal F = decimal 15.
